EDUCATIONAL VIDEO #1

pROJECT OVERVIEW

This animated explainer deconstructs common misconceptions around how air conditioning systems operate. Rather than generating cold air, the video illustrates the true physics of heat transfer. Showing how thermal energy is gathered inside a space and vented outdoors through a closed loop. Using a 2D/3D hybrid style, complex components like compressors and expansion valves are transformed into abstract conceptual pistons and fluid particle mechanics, making thermodynamics intuitive and engaging.

RESEARCH

The aesthetic combines soft vector shapes, 2D UI elements, and abstract 3D models to keep the viewer focused on energy movement rather than complex machinery. A restricted temperature color palette forms the core visual language, shifting dynamically between ice blues for chilled states and vibrant warm oranges for heat compression. Fluid particle setups and custom blending effects depict refrigerant morphing between liquid and gas, turning invisible physical laws into a tangible story.
